Namesake – Mabel’s Confections
Growing up, I was fortunate to have a guiding light in my life—my beloved grandmother, Mabel. She was not only a source of warmth and comfort but also the catalyst for my lifelong passion for baking and culinary creativity
Mabel’s kitchen was my first classroom, where I learned the art of baking and the joy of sharing homemade treats with loved ones. There’s something magical about preparing and sharing a meal with someone who communicates love and affection to others.
Her most requested dessert was a Red Velvet Cake with six layers (that’s right – six)!
This elegant dessert facilitated many conversations around the dining room table making it the warmest, loving place in the whole house. And somehow you knew this warm feeling was a reflection of a grandmother’s love for her family.
Grandma’s love came through everything she did. So this site is dedicated to that same love from Mabel.
